A huge, conspicuous structure stands out on the headland of Naklua, on the outskirts of Pattaya. The temple was built in 1981 by billionaire Lek Wiriyaphan with his own money, and is a huge wooden cross-shaped structure measuring 100 meters in width and height. The building, which represents the best of Thai artists, is still incomplete after more than 40 years, due to the complex and intricate religious carvings on both the outside and inside. It is an unimaginable structure, and no one knows when it will be finally completed. This huge, one-of-a-kind building, like a utopia, will surely be passed down through generations, like the pyramids. It is definitely worth a visit.
